I understand people not clicking on the ads. It's against Google's TOS for us to
ask people to do that, and the unfortunate thing is it's really hard for them to
target ads to our users based on content, as most pages are just a big picture.
Or some thumbnails. There's really very little in the way of actual 'readable'
content.
This is why tags are useful and important, it helps (though not much) google to
direct relevant ads to users. Whenever a targeted ad is displayed, the click
through rate tends to go up.
But yeah, if those guys reckon we should be making $20 off 6500 pageviews (or
$30 off 10,000) a day, I'd love them to contact me and show me how!
edit: What site is that on? I'm curious about estimates for some other sites.
