Now that Obama is going to be.....I hate to even write it...... President, I would hope that the bickering over equal rights can calm down now.

During the election the media kept telling us it was not about race and now that Obama has won race sudden comes to the foreground. If the election was not about race then why does race matter now? I get tired of hearing what color his skin is every time I turn on the TV. This will do nothing but open the divisions wider between the races. More is made of his color and very little about his platform.

Common knowledge pro,of course obama and his harem are not advertising it.You'll hear about it,once obama gets in office.Basically this has been going on for a few yrs now and of course the democrats started it,didnt try to pass it with bush in office. Now they have obama it will pass.Sadly the internet will be on their agenda also.

junior this is a perfect example why you need to watch and read all biased media, whether you believe them or not.

fossil that is why I asked the question...
I listen to alot of talk radio at work, and I listen to programs from the left to the right and everything in between, and I have never heard anything about that...

with any news media, you have to understand that you only hear or see what they want you to, which is why you have to try to watch, read, or listen to as much variety as you can...

there has been alot of crap on here lately about democrats and republicans, obama and mccain, etc etc political political...and it's funny how people can have such strong opinions based solely on what they have seen on tv, or read on the internet,or whatever media, but they have only been watching or listening or reading from sources that tell them just want they want to hear and not the whole truth...

I also think there is a big problem with the media only giving time to the two major political parties...the others should have equal time...
do I think obama will be a better president than mccain? I know certain people here think I believe that, but the truth is I don't think it matters...obama will do things I agree with and he will do things I don't agree with also, but so would have mccain or anyone else for that matter...there will always be things the government does that not all people will agree with...but the one thing that surely will not help is getting on plus613 and carrying on about it and calling people stupid names like demofag or republifuck and pointing fingers saying its _______'s fault!!

Junior you are right in the sense that anyone in office will do things one might agree with and other things one might not agree with which is why I supported Bush because he was doing things in the middle east I agreed with. I did not agree with everything he did here but I still supported him because he did what I would have done in the middle east even though it wasn't strong enough. Obama will do nothing to protect our nation from attack and do nothing when we get attacked again. Therefor I will not support him. I also believe he will give more entitlements to minorities in the future which we will pay for even though we never owned slaves.
