And fossil, thanks for that link, here's a quote from that link, maybe it'll help you....

"The World Doesn't Want to be Saved."

"The world is a teeming mishmash of cultures with a bewildering array of values and ideologies engaged in their own version of the good life. People are generally not interested in changing the metaphors through which they view the world, so real understanding between groups with conflicting viewpoints is not achievable in the short term. The good news is, that's OK, because the world isn't supposed to be saved on a global scale. It must be saved at the level of the individual. And despite the fact that the level of the individual appears to be statistically insignificant, it is in fact the most significant, because it is only at the level of the individual that a creative synthesis of conflicting metaphors can occur. Once a connection is made at the individual level, the process of spreading successful new metaphors throughout society is essential automatic if the society is ready for them. If the society is not ready, the new metaphors will not be accepted under any circumstances. So don't beat you head on a rock. Solve your own interpersonal communication problems. If the world is ready to benefit from your solutions, you will not be able to stop it from using them. "

Maybe now you can see that it can be a good thing to give opinions, maybe the time is right, maybe it's not, but, one of my favorite things to say that... you can not argue with, is.... "persistance is key"... if I speak my mind and nothing happens I'll keep it up, eventually the people will see "the right way". I'm just not into the "fossil way", you know that, yeah whatever, you can't do nothing about it attitude then push right-wing propaganda with a little chuckle on the end. Fossil-ShitTalking101

This is all typical for people in our country. No matter how many agree with a war in it's beginning, after it has gone on for a while most Americans will waffle on it. I wasn't around during WWII but I imagine it was much the same after it went over a couple of years. People tend to forget they were in favor of it in the beginning and eventually just want it to end regardless of the reprocussions. Because of this the Generals and all upper level leaders feel it and start protecting their own asses at the expense of everyone else. The average American is too weak to stick out a long protracted war but the terrorists aren't. They count on the fact that we will not stay in a conflict for very long and this is how they can defeat us because they have patience and we don't.

That's just jgoins script, he reminds me of all those revelation freaks out there saying the end of the world is near, and have been for a long time (fear sells). So what jgoin spits out is that "the end is near if we don't take care of those muslim terrorist", well why haven't they started yet, if they were anything like the Neo's pretend they are they would already have blown up shitloads more, lots of propaganda talk, but, no real threat.... where is it, all I hear is talk, everyone listen to all the fear they're sold on a daily basis.... why is that happening?.... Cui Bono..Cui Bono...Cui Bono....

They have patience and will be on their timetable. When all of Islam falls in line with the radicals is when it will start and it will be in our lifetime.
