looks like they might have shot him. there seems to be another eye by the eye with blood coming out. idk but i like sharks, just not when i'm not in the water unless i'm a M.F. cage!

i got this in am e-mail with no info.
i was thinking maybe it was shot, but who wades out in the surf with a gun?
it had to be caught then shot....maybe?
or is someone fishing with a meat hook? that would explain the distance from the corner of the mouth to the wound.

it's not decayed like it washed ashore.

it could be, but a strange choice to shop, it's not that big. i could see shopping a 15 footer
