This is a good idea but would require some additional code. The good thing is that the admins are unix system guys but the bad new is they have full time jobs.
If people used the forum thread that once existed (started by me and delted by...) then moderators can still get to offensive images in a timely manner. It also enables discussion.
I was majorly pissed off when the Kari Byron image was removed. That required admin intervention. Then there was the "One in the pink" but it could not be fully recovered. All moderators have made mistakes but these were hate crimes.
I deleted some of PJ's nude art (months ago), not because I thought it was bad but I was just in auto pilot but I managed to find it and restore it after he complained in the forum.

Why go there? Just change the standards to what is safe for work. Any image that you wouldn't look at with your boss standing over your shoulder should be moved to the porn site. I think that it would make things very easy to distinguish unless your job was out of the ordinary.

I think it is a nice idea.
In fact to change standards will never be a solution, because any standards we chose, there will always be a threshold which can be trespassed.

Yes I like the idea of purgatory but there is a technical problem with this particular MySQL database whereby if something is moved it is really really hard to restore with the same image number and location so that any comments and links to it actually point to the correct image when it is restored. MrKlown needs to think about that one.
PJ, wait for some more comments then post your idea in the forum for the admin to read.
Ideally we want an image in purgatory to be able to be commented on ad nauseam and then if it is cleansed of sins it can return to the fray with all it's comments in tact.

Rather than move it, use a filter.

Maybe recycle the current categoryfilter. Does anyone use it?
