I had a beautiful Husky 360CR in the early to mid eighties, Swedish built. One of the prettiest dirt bikes ever, with it's red alloy tank and polished knee panels, silver frame and black engine. Faster than anything comparable at the time. The new Huskies look nice, but I;ll wait and see how the Italians provide parts support and customer service. Ever ride a TM?

its actually really controlable despite having almost all of the power of some of the 500's i have and have driven. The torque comes on low but doesnt lack top end, especially not with the exhuast i have on it.

All i know is the new huskies are way bad ass (they are made by cagiva). They are best 50 state street legal enduros money can buy, for a reasonable price. the te 510 - is less than 240 pounds and can smoke honda crf 450s in a moto. Plus you can make them into supermotards pretty easily.

Hell, that old bike managed to put a crf450x in its place and im not that great of a rider

I'm still dying to ride a tm or a vor, ive ridden a gilera chronos 125. That was the best road race bike ever. 260 pounds, olhins suspension, brembo brakes. In 20 minutes i put down my first knee.

Post your bikes - id love to see 'em. Especially that vintage husky (I got a nice old suzuki t500 i got to post)

The Husky's at my hangar in Reno.. last time I rode it was almost 4 years ago. It's part of my permanent collection, so I don't thrash it. I ride a tricked out CR500R most of the time, or for tight technical stuff, I still love my '96 RMX250 GNCC qualifier, a team bike built for serious enduro competition with mostly RM250C parts. Eats KTMs for lunch, and all of the new four strokes for dinner.

T500? As in T500 Titan? Two cylinder, two stroke road bike, 1970's vintage? I had a T250 Hustler, a GT380 Sebring, and GT550 back in my school days, built some metal shop expansion chambers and terrorized local neighborhoods on all sorts of rabid two and three cylinder Suzukis and Kawasakis. I was the bane of local law enforcement...the mere mention of my name still creates a stark silence among the local sheriff's deputies at the Dunkin' donuts.

I busted out my front teeth on my RM.250. Lets just say when I went for the big jump I held my back break to long and over the handlebars I went.
